Nada Network Activities during December

An awareness session on COVID-19 and on the health provisions of Algerian law was held at Chahat Rabah School in Bologhine and at 19 March 1962 Khiati B School in Bab El Oued. The children and the teaching staff welcomed the training course and the awareness session, which reminded them of the dangers of the coronavirus and was accompanied by an acrobatic performance.

A morning training course was also held, along with an awareness session on health and a “COVID-19” awareness session for African children from Mali, Niger and Côte d’Ivoire, at the Green School “Al-Ikram”.

The Algerian Network for the Defence of Children’s Rights (NADA), in partnership with the Manara Network, in cooperation with the Wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi and in coordination with the Algerian Association of Education Professionals of Oum El Bouaghi, held a civil society meeting on development, on advancing children’s rights and on advocating for them. The event was led by the network’s president, Arar Abderrahmane.

A training course was organised for 10 NADA staff members and 10 representatives of government institutions on addressing weaknesses in the field of child protection and on rallying support for national protection systems, delivered by the network’s lawyer.
